This is to notify the general public that admission into College of Nursing Sciences for 2026/2027 Academic Session is ongoing for the following programmes;

Procedure for Post Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (PUTME) is as follows:-

1. Candidate should have scored a minimum of 200 in the 2026 JAMB
   1. Candidate should have a minimum of credit pass in the under-listed subjects in not more than two sittings at O/level, WAEC and NECO.
   • Mathematics , English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology
2. Candidates are to proceed to the nearest JAMB accredited center to effect their change of institution to College of Nursing Sciences, University of Benin Teaching Hospital, if UBTH College of Nursing was not first your first choice.
3. Candidates are to Pay Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) only and Service Charge of Eighteen Thousand Naira (18,000.00) only from the CON UBTH website after creating profile as screening fees
   1. Candidates are to upload the scanned document of the following documents to purchase the post UTME FORM
   • A copy of JAMB result slip
   • A copy of JAMB change of institution slip
   • A copy of WAEC/NECO results
   • A copy of Birth Certificate
   • A copy of Passport photographs
   • Ensure you upload your O/L result to Central Admission Processing System (CAPS)   

DURATION:

ADMISSION INTO SCHOOL OF POST BASIC NURSING (SPBN)

Duration: 1 year

Application are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into SPBN, UBTH for the year 2026/2027 academic session for the following courses:

• Diploma in Opthalmic Nursing and Management
• Diploma in Critical Care Nursing
• Diploma in Perioperative Nursing and Management
• Diploma in Paediatric Nursing and Management
• Diploma in Accident and Emergency Nursing and Management
• (fee N20,000.)
• Diploma in Gerontology Nursing (N20,000)

Entry qualifications

Applicants should:

1. Possess five (5) credits in not more than two sittings in WAEC/GCE O, Levels, which must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry.
2. Be a qualified nurse duly registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
3. Have at least one year post registration clinical experience in the relevant area.
